Need PPI in LA County, South Bay - Help?

Can anyone recommend where I can get a good objective PPI in Los Angeles County. I live in Redondo Beach and seller is in Beverly Hills so anywhere in between would work.

Also, what generally should I expect to pay?

Thanks!!

TRE (North Hollywood, highly recommended by members of this board)

From my personal experience:

Callas Rennsport (Torrance, big money, but worth it)
Oest Enterprises (Torrance)

Torrance is close for me so that may be best although I could meet seller in North HW.

All the advice I have had indicates a ppi is always needed. I am looking at an 88 with 36K miles that checks out in carfax and autocheck in terms of mileage (progressively tracks when smogged) over the last 10 years.

I know there are some minor oil leaks but otherwise you could eat off any surface of this car.

Sounds good, too bad it isn't an SC.

The advice you've heard is correct, PPI - always. Also remember that a PPI won't find everything, so don't be surprised if/when something else turns up.

There is a search button for the techinical forum, you might want to run a search of 'PPI cost'. Tons of information on this subject archived.
