a little milestone

I know some of you guys have way more, but this doesn't happen every day. I'm 9998 miles away from a 1/4 million!

about what I had on the 912...

... before I handed it over to my first son on his sixteenth birthday. Moved on to new owner with new motor shortly after. Loved that car, but spent way too much on rust repair and painting (not to mention a rebuild or two) -- much more than a reasonable adult ought to spend on a four-banger. Still had more charisma than just about anything else I coulda driven.

The other two boys enjoy Mustang GT converitbles (5.0 and 4.6) had 'em for years and love 'em, the best American iron for the buck (especially for a teenager/young adult and/or a dad that likes to spin the tires once in a while).

Somewhere soon after the motor was rebuilt. Here's a link to the rebuild thread the PO wrote
