Speedometer quit

Walked into the kitchen today and saw a hornet on my window.
Guess if they woke up it's time for the 911..so...had to make a run down the street and took the 73....Ahhh........felt good.....
But, my speedo quit...Any ideas? Worked fine last year.

Pull the speedo from the dash and see if the cable is connected. If it isn't, there's your problem. If it is connected, disconnect it. Go for a drive and see if the cable turns. If it does, your speedo is bad. If it doesn't, check the boss on the tranny to see if the cable is attached.
