Recommendations for PPI in Los Angeles

TRE Motorsports in North Hollywood.

If they can't help you out or for whatever reason you can't get over there, try NARW in Reseda. Both are about 20 miles round trip, but reputable and honest. Good luck.

TRE would be my first choice. If you want to stay closer to the South Bay, Callas Rennsport.

I paid Callas Rennsport in Torrance $100 to go over my car with a fine tooth comb after I purchased it. (had to buy without PPI due to incredible deal vs. demand for car).

They spent 3 hours on it, and their mechanic meticulously detailed every possible thing that could be wrong or go wrong in the future, along with estimates for the repairs. This was great. Ive done most of the repairs myself (minor things) but without this PPI, I would have surely missed many things.

Callas is very thorough.

There are quite a few competent and reputable Porsche shops in the Los Angeles area, what year and model 911 is it? The only reason I ask is that some shops are a lot more involved w/ the earlier cars than others. TRE is filled w/ early 911s most days, + a smattering of everything else, ie. 944's, 914's, 993 and 996's, turbos, etc....

They have a well-deserved reputation for honesty and calling a ball a ball and a strike a strike, if you know what I mean.

I actually don't have a specific car yet but I'm actively looking at them. I wanted to be prepared. Those 3 names will provide me the ability to have who ever is selling the car a place near by to take it to.
