wiring nightmare
rebuilding the car now and got all electrics working apart from stop lights and indicators they all worked before

could be anything from a bad ground, to a bad fuse, bad connection to the fuse box, faulty relay, or bad indicatior switch
best thing would be to find an electrical diagram for your car, so you know how the hole thing links up, if your lucky you'll notice it's all on the same circuit, and then you can start measuring with a multitester... the diagram is an invaluable tool, and not so difficult to read once you figure out the basics...

Pretty broad question, esp since we don't know what your car is or what exactly you've done with it. More details would help. Which indicators - front, back, or both? Any of the lights in the back work? The more detailed you are, the better answers you'll get.

well i got all the indicators to work now and only one of the brake lights so its only one brake light and the rear number plate lights not working car is a 1969 912
