While it is ugly, I'd rather Porsche made sport sedans than Sport Sports Utility Vehicles: SSUVs.

Might put the hurt on some M3, M5s and AMGs.

I like it!

So who can translate--is it going to be produced?

That seems to be the case, you'll have to wait till 2008, much can change in 4 years...

I kinda like it too.

But the pics don't make sense. The closed door pic shows the door handles for a "Suicide" configuration but the open door pic show a standard configuration.

What is it with European journalism lately? They try to hook you in with a big headline ("Porsche Decides to Off Sports Cars, Start Killing Babies") and then show you "artists renderings" of what *might* come out of Stuttgart in the next 10 years. First it was minivans, then a V8 911, now a 4-door.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a Porsche sport sedan. But the lack of integrity among car publications just irks me.

The pictures of the 996 style 4door have been doing the rounds since about 1991!!
as for the CGT style, well I'm just past caring what modern day Porsche produce.
