custom oil line, how & where 2 get it?
I need to replace this oil line
http://store3.yimg.com/I/dartauto_1789_23413 on the 82 SC 'cause it's rubbing on my B&B Triflow, so I need braided stainless flexible line, it has to be 1" in diameter and about 2 ft in lenghts, where can I get this custom line? Many thanks in advance |
You could probably buy braided hose and some right angle attachments and duplicate what the factory looks like but in something more wear and contact resistant.
Do a google search under aeroquip and you'll find several places that sell the stuff. |

Are there any places on i-net that sells it? I did quick search, but most of the places don't carry hoses 1" in diameter, the biggest they have are 3/8" (for Hondas and Acuras) If anybody knows where to get it, please H-E-L-P ! Thanks |

Why not just go to your local hydraulic shop and have them make up what you need?
|
I did the google search under aeroquip hose, as I mentioned above, and these guys are the third company on the results list. They have upwards of 2 3/4" hose.
http://www.bakerprecision.com/earls1.htm You'll see several more if you take the time to do the search for yourself. |
Harry has the right idea. Ask a local garage where they go for custom brake and AC hoses.
|
ah, better yet, check eBay. The NASCAR guys are always ditching old hose and fittings, you can make a killing.
