Who makes the best aluminum pedals and floorboards

I am feeling lazy and don't feel like searching all over the net. Can anyone suggest the best source for the aluminum pedals and floor boards?

I want to spruce up the interior w/ a purposeful look.

I think I will also paint my guage trim rings to match.

i'd say be careful of the aluminum pedals, they can get very slippery. if you use the car in the rain, i'd think twice.

Would stainless steel pedals be better then?

Here are my Rennline pedals and polished alum guage bezels I bought off Ebay. I like how it turned out and easy to install/remove.

The wheel is a Momo Millenium.

I have the Rennline racing pedal set and drilled floorboards, everyone compliments on them and the heel extension on the gas is perfect for heel/toe. The pedals which are dilled have raised nubs around the holes to add some grip. If you really want more grip go to your local skateboard shop and pick up a roll of griptape, about eight dollars and it comes in assorted colors. Most race cars which have flat pedals use grip tape, saw it on Gil De Ferran's car a few years ago at the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Only if they have a rubber pedal pad on them... like factory. Any metal can get deathly slippery with wet shoes.

ya, ubiquity0 is right. any stainless or aluminum (or any metal) will be slippery if wet. grip tape is a good idea.

those pedals will look cool, but it's important to keep the potential for slippage in mind.

Two things:
For the gas pedal ( only) having aluminum or stainless is indeed slippery...and (IMHO) preferred ! Look also at early 935's and such. Your pivot point is your ankle, and your toe likes a bit of slip on the gas pedal surface.
Now...the brake and clutch...that's another story. Either "wing walk" ( from aircraft supply stores) or up-drilled holes to give you grip.

Kudos also to Paul at Rennline. He offered ( on this BBS) to take old footrests of his in trade when some people complained of them being too vertical. He replaced mine ( no charge ! ) even when I told him I had heavily modified mine to begin with. Great outfit and products.

Yes Paul did the same for my dead pedal. I would suggest people look at his web site, he has some neat new stuff I have not seen in the adds yet. Also, Pelican sells the line.

The ones wher the entire assembly is replaced with Al might be lighter than the stock steel. (anybody weighed these?) You may be able to put rubber pads over the metal.

RUF.

Expensive, but isn't your baby worth it?

In this case ( IMHO), the high $ for RUF is simply marketing....

I don't otherwise mind paying premium $ when there is a tangible difference...but the RUF alu pedals are really not much different than other good designs...

Wil,

But it says "RUF" on the brake pedal. Honestly, that must make it 25X better!

In all honesty, I chose this set because I liked the dead pedal best out of all the others I had seen. The rest were used because, well, they matched and looked pretty.

Wings engineering gas pedal, OMP brake and clutch, AJ dead pedal, Rennline floorboards...

The Wings is expensive (not as expensive as Rennline adjustable), but well worth it. The OMP set was $40, got the floorboards on Ebay.
