Silver Anniversary Edition Fuchs - worth anything more than stock wheels?

I am trying to gather a set of 4 16x6 Fuchs as donor wheels to have a set of either 3 piece or 2 piece 17s made for my 930. I came across a pair of basically perfect Fuchs from a 1989 Silver Anniversary car (you can see the basic idea of the wheels in this thread: My new 89 Carrera pic!).

I bought them but now am having reservations about sending them off to be cut up for my 17s. Are these worth more than the basic black centered wheels? I think even if these had black centers I would have a tough time as they are in much better shape than what I was looking for. So am I stupid for letting these become donors?

Bill

I don't think they are worth any more than regular Fuchs unless you have an '89 anniv car with bad wheels.

Yeah - I would expect you are right. I have never had nor seen Fuchs in like new condition like this - they put a really nice paint job on those silevr anniversary deals. Kind of a shame to paint them black -

so what you have is 1 pair of perfect 6" front wheels from an anniv. car? If you don't have or have access to the whole set, I'd just go ahead. Two skinny silver wheels ain't worth much, unless you have just the right buyer, IMHO.

Kobalt - you got it. I split the set with my mechanic as the other wheels were 8s and that's all he wanted. The paint on these wheels is so much nicer than any black Fuchs I have seen.

Cut 'em up. They're just plain jane 16x6's. btw, i thought these Silver Ed fuchs were 16x7, 8. Guess i was wrong. The 8's were the ones worth something.
