ok, im not great w electrical. not bad, but not great.
someone please describe how to make the cigarette lighter hot all the time by modifying the wiring at the fuse box, if thats possible. ok, whoever can come up w a solution theres a 20 in it for ya. i swear

Jason,
As I see it, you will need to separate the Black wire to the lighter from the Blue wire from Fuse 13. Then, you can splice the Black wire to a new inline fuse holder run directly to the battery positive terminal. The diagram below may help ... assuming you haven't already looked at it. ![]()

thank you. yeah i looked at it. and thats kinda what i thought, but i wanted to ask.
next ques, whats the best way to access the rear of the cigarette lighter?

Option 2..disconnect the black wire where it goes into fuse 13. Connect it to an in-line (25a) to the battery or the input side of any unswitched fuse where the input wire is larger than the black one you removed.. Remove the bulb from the fan light. Write down what you did and put it in your owner's manual for the next guy.
