I have one of those nifty 930s style units all painted up and ready to install.

Looks like Todds did

Static's car

some say that I need to remove the bumper others say no. Clearly I'd prefer not. How do I do this job?

There are 2 bolts that hold the center area of the valence in the bottom of the trunk.

I haven't done this in quite a while but I can say I didn't remove the bumper. The side of the rear of the valance is held in with two threaded studs off the accordion pieces. Then there are two or three sheet metal screws that secure the the side of the valance.

As for the front, I believe it is secure through the bottom of the bumper.

you can use all the existing harware for the back and side but may have to drill a few new holes in the bottom of the bumper to attach. If there is a gap between the new valance and bumper use nylon washers to fill.

thanks for the help. I'm not picturing where the bolts in the trunk would be though.

The bolts in the trunk are parallel to the ground/face front-to-back. If you look closely in the nose of the car you will see them.

they're in front of the gas tank below where the stock jack goes.

Thanks, gentlemen!
