The speedo dial runs counter clockwise, so . . . . . . it tracks how fast the car is going backwards!! :D

That is the meanest looking car of all time. A buddy of mine has a real one and it is a blast.

My guess is when your hands are on the wheel, they do obscure the right hand side of the gauge in a Cobra.
I have rotated my 930 gauges, the speedo and the tach for better visualization on the street and the track. |
