Angry Body Vibrations & PDK transmission mounts!

This is really a rip off! i took my 997.2 (2009) PDK Carrera S to my local dealer complaining about vibrations on my car while the car is STOPPED and the gear is engaged in (D). It weakens when i put the gear in (N) but it's still there and it is really annoying.

The local dealer informed me that it could be because of 3 reasons:

1. The Engine mounts are worn out.
2. The Transmission mounts are worn out.
3. There is a problem with the exhaust as it may be lose at the manifold area or there could be an air leak.

I have replaced the ENGINE mounts recently and i don't believe they could be the problem.

So the Problem could be from the transmission mounts or the exhaust itself. i told them that it might be really from the transmission mounts as i believe it related to the transmission some how.

Unfortunately, the dealer informed me that the transmission mounts does NOT come alone and i need to replace the whole transmission in order to replace them!! This is insane!

My question is, could that be true?! And if there is any gentleman here have experienced the same problem i will appreciate his feed back very much.

Sorry for my Bad English!

Regards,
Salem

I've never worked on a "new" Porsche, so take this with some caution.

Here's the PET for your car:

http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/usa/997-2_USA_KATALOG.pdf

The transmission mounting points seen to start around page 62.

It looks like all separable components to me. Pelican Parts lists some replacement inserts:

I'm sure others with more experience on these cars have better advice. I recommend posting in the 997 forum:

Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, the parts which are listed in the link above is for "Manual Transmission" only. i have also tried to find the parts i need inside the PET without any luck.

It looks like PDK gears are mounted in a different way where it is not possible to order the transmission mounts separately. Further clarification is required by an experienced guy with this exact model.

Thank you very much fanaudical.

Waiting for further assistance.

Regards,
Salem.
