Sending Unit

Hi Folks,

Getting the engine back in the car after 4 years, and most of the connections are self explanitory, but I have 2 sensors that I'm not really sure where they are or what wire connects to them. The first one is just below the fan on the front of the engine

The second mounts on top, towards the rear of the engine. I'd guess Oil Pressure sending unit, but that leaves me puzzled as to what the boot-covered one with the two connectors on it is. Here's the pic of the 2nd one:

If anyone could tell me what these sensors are, and maybe what color wire is supposed to be connected that'd be great.

Thanks!

Also I bought a Cyl. Head Temp sensor to mount on my 3.2L heads, but I don't know where it goes. Is there a mounting location predrilled on Carrera heads?

The one near the fan is the oil temperature sender. Information about the engine origin (year) would be hepful. What did the wiring harness come from? I don't see an oil pressure sender in the images. Jim

Sorry, engine is an '83 SC /w 3.2L heads, and the wiring harness is from a 914-6.
