Quack, Quack...

After much consideration, I decided to go duck on the Carrera. MUCH better than the 3.8... I really like the duck. It is currently in "gas-out mode" therefore it is not painted/prepped yet. It is from GT-Racing and fits very well, but will require a little bit of finish fit before squirting.

My 3.8 is available in the classifieds if anyone is interested...

Ducks rule

I like your duck!

Those fuchs look cool too, and are those 993 door handles you have there?

pwd72s 04-21-2004 05:27 PM

Aesthetics...I prefer the duck. Function? Open to debate. But really, how often do we street guys drive 100 plus? Track? Another story...depending on the track(s) you run most often. My advice? If street, run what looks good to you. If track, run what works best...

ZAMIRZ 04-21-2004 06:47 PM

Nice ducktail. Nice 993 door handles too, I'd never noticed that.

Wow, of course, being a 911 your car has always looked good, but the original before compared to your newest most improved after is like the ugly duckling to the beautiful swan.

The color match fuchs, carrera script, duck, RS nose....

Awesome.

RSBob 04-21-2004 08:52 PM

The 3.8 was far too heavy looking. The duck is IT! Nice choice!

MrKJBlue 04-21-2004 08:53 PM

Much Much better! looks very nice. I like the black paint under the rockers, cleans it up well.

To everyone... Thanks!!!!!:D

Just one more step to go, H4's arrive this week. Then it's time to move on to the new toy!!

Cool how did you fill the holes where the rocker trim was? I need to do this. I like the black stripe!

Porsche 04-22-2004 04:17 AM

I have to admit, I like the 3.8 spoiler on your car, it balanced out the RSR front bumper. :) I'm tempted to try one out...

Jadams1 04-22-2004 04:40 AM

I kike the duck better.

trj911 04-22-2004 06:31 AM

I'm a big fan of the duck. It looks great!

CHILI 04-22-2004 07:45 AM

Quack, Quack. LOL

Love the duck + 2! And the script.

Some H4's and it would be complete.

Hmmm... IROC bumpers on a Targa with a ducktail. Looks fantastic. Could you please post a picture of your car with the Targa top off. I need to get a good visual before I start chopping on my car again!

OZCarrera3 04-22-2004 08:39 AM

I've always wanted a "Duck Tail" on my Carrerra. Can someone please photoshop this image?
