Red face Wiper Relay - Photo Please!

I think I have now found my problem of why my wipers won't switch off...but I think I also screwed my back trying to find the bloody wiper delay relay! Anyway, it wasn't the stalk switch and it wasn't the motor switch contacts. It looks like it is the wiper delay relay as I just found it and opened it...a little corrosion on the board. Anyway, I wondered if someone may have an old relay and could take a photo of the solder/track side of the board so that I can hard wire the tracks that have been eaten away.
I would buy a new relay, but apart from the fact that it has to come from Germany it costs $$$. I live in New Zealand, so not all parts are stocked here.

What year car? Do you have a separate switch for intermittent wipers? If you do, make sure it's turned off. This may seem stupid, but when I first bought my car, I couldn't figure out how to turn off the wipers, then I noticed the switch on the dash. Turned it off and the wipers shut off.

Thanks, but I did think of that one. It is the relay, but I may be able to figure it out myself, but a photo would help. The car is an '83 SC.

OK! All working now. So, I think I know know more about the wipers than I ever wanted to. If anyone else has the same problem. they should (a) Check the stalk switch. An earlier thread had the correct checks to make with a multimeter for continuity (b) Check the wiper delay relay...not easy to find but under all the HVAC tubing etc. (c) Wiper delay module (d) Wiper motor contacts...but not easy to get out.

Can you elaborate on where the wiper delay relay you spoke of is ? I think I have the same problem. Wipers work on hi and lo, but don't park when shut off and the delay switch on the dash doesn't do anything ... used to.

Thanks !!

OK, on RHD cars it is on the RHS up by the dash. I assume for LHD it will either be in the same position or in the same place on the LHS. It is a small (2xMatchbox size) box with a bracket. Hope this is of some help. The wipers seem to be the worst thing about this car!
