				Road & Track Special Edition!!!

Anyone else receive their "special edition" of R&T today which is actually a full spread sales brochure, endorsement, and hype surrounding the new and "improved" Chrysler 300. What an ugly pimpin' piece of junk. Add some 28" spinner wheels and I predict this will rival the popularity of the Escalade as a "status" symbol. I am really thinking hard how to tie this into a Porsche content thread....Oh, I got it, I hope I never get hit by one of these land yachts while in my Porsche Sigh.... -B

Well I like it - I figure it's about time Chrisler get back to it's old way of building large 4 door sedans.

Well, of course (here is Europe...) I've had to go Google way to find out what this "Chrysler 300" is, and upon popping up the picture...near heart attack alarm ensued! Please stick to Porsche content, guys, you have no idea how dangerous it can be to stray from the subject!

I think it's a great looking car compared to everything else in the Chrysler sedan lineup. It reminds me of the old Lincolns with suicide doors sorta, would look good with 20" wheel in all black with the centers of the wheels paint-matched to the car.

I like it, along with it's cousin the Dodge Magnum - which I'd take in a heartbeat over the Cayenne (if I was in the market for a cargo hauler). Very cool. And while my true love is sixes of the inline or opposed variety, there's something to be said for a big ole thumping american V8... Stef | ||

Hahahah, Yep, I'd rather have a Dodge Magnum with a Viper powertrain. That would be the coolest Station Wagon ever.

There was a big article inthe Wall Street Journal about how that 300 C has major street cred because it was in a $.50 video (he's a rapper for those of you that don't know ) I think Chrysler was making some trick special editions for the hip hop crowd much like the 'Sclade PLatinum Edition (2 flat screen monitors). There was a quote about affixing Bentley medallions to the 300C. Interesting to see people talking about Chryslers. Woulda never thunk it. BTW: Anyone got a photo of the Dodge Magnum? I've been trying to fine one (a photo).

I like it too except for the chrome wheels. Nice big American sedan with 330 or so hp. Probably quicker than 80% or more of the cars on this board.
