Seems like a lot of folks get an Optima in there.

Or you could do this:

I just bought a battery last week for my '77 911s. It cost me about $80 dollars. It was the same footprint as the OEM and bolted in on the left side of the vehicle. I bought the battery mat from PP and it rests on that. I tried to buy the OPTIMA but getting the reverse polarity was to big of a hasle and then I had to fab something that would deal with its smaller footprint.

I likes 'zeke's' setup, in the smugglers box. COOL! Be prepared to pay $80 and up if you buy new.

I installed a 680 a couple of weeks ago in my SC in the stock location. I made a base and strap to secure it. Its a 35 lb. weight savings.

Put it in the pass box (weight)-buy an odyssey. Routing all those wires would be a hassle in my mind if you decide to put it in smugglers box. I have a lightning audio and would have bought an ody.. if I would have known about them 4 years back.
