NY/NJ/CT Hershey Caravan
Hi all,
I can't seem to find that big Hershey thread anymore, I guess it got buried. Well, in case it doens't resurface, I was wondering if there is any organized caravan to Hershey for early Saturday? If not, let's get one going. 2 years ago, Marc Weintraub organized one with about 15 of us.....what ever happened to him? What do ya say? We can have a couple meeting spots, maybe one after GWB, then on Garden State or 287/80? regards,

I tried to get a caravan going last year, but the weather was a bust. I was with you 2 yrs ago and it was a blast. I am planning to go this year with my son and will be leaving saturday morning. Of course this could all change if it's pouring out. It just isn't any fun walking around hershey in a torrential downpour. As of this writing the national weather service is giving a 20-30% chance of rain for hershey on saturday. Lets keep the thread going. I still have the cell phone list and meeting area info from last year if that's helpful.

There are some moving out along the PA turnpike however, you'll miss us by heading east on 80 and then drop down to 322 (beautiful ride) into Hershey.

OK,
Looks like I'm going to the meet for sure. Weather looks great on both ends. Can't really remember what the meeting points were. Anyone want to meet up and travel together? I can't believe we don't have an active group. I'd like to hit the road where I am no later than 6:30 a.m. I guess I'll just see where this thread takes us. Mike, what route would you take to get to 78? regards,

Jon, I'll be heading over the GWB to 95 south. Hope to leave my house between 6-6:30. That should put us about on track to hook up if you like. As long as you haven't changed your cell number I think I have it. I'll have to check a bit later. I still have the same number. I'll send you a PM just in case. Kraftwerk, why don't you join us?

Hi Mike,
I think this time around, we'll (me and my brother) will be heading up 287 to 78 to 81. We are trying to hit the road around 6'ish, we've got to back kinda early. My new cell is 845-323-2748 (it's tough to hear in my LOUD car) My brother is Ben, his is 914-659-1180 (I'll tell him you might ring) Anyhow, with the different routes and times, not sure if it will work, but do give us a buzz anyway. regards,
