 looks fantastic...
did you take the tires off? (did i miss the answer to that question?) what does that stuff do if you get it on rubber? what did it do to the paint on the centers? thanks doug |

Doug, two wheels had tires and two did not. It had no effect on the factory paint, but I am not sure what it would do to paint that someone else had applied. The cleaner did absolutley nothing to the rubber- tires or my gloves. Skin, now that is a different matter all together!

you might consider using Liquid Glass sealant to seal that shine in, I did that to my Airstream and it sealed the aluminum skin very well. It has lasted for 6-7 months thru winter weather also. 17 bucks a bottle at Pep Boys and other places, but a little goes a long way. One can did my 28' rig twice with a little left over.

Having done this a few times, I would say stripping the anodization off is about 25% of the work involved getting them to a fully polished look. Just doing the rims saves a lot of extra work. It also helps to have the valve stem off them if possible. Nice work, and see, you didn't need to send them out!
