Starter gear

My starter gear is worn causing excessive wear on my ring gear. Can this be replaced or do I have to buy a new starter?

Thanks

83' 930 turbo

If so, should I get the OE or the high torque one?

Thanks

Not sure if it's the same starter as the 83SC, but the pinion is easily replaceable, and cost me C$50.00. Search for an earlier thread on the details.
