Thumbs up Your Hairstyle During Your Porsche's Birthyear

Well,

After being inspired by the "Your Activities During Your Porsche's Birthyear" post, I got all sentimental about the days when I had hair (on my head).

So 'fess up, what was your hairstyle when your Porsche rolled off the showroom floor?

Personally, I had a "Cobra". A variation on the Mullet with a larger "veranda" on the front. Bring back 1989.

I was two years old - back then, I had the Mo from the Three Stooges hair cut; put a bowl over your head and cut all the hair that pokes out. Come to think of it, I think that's how my barber does it today...

Then, my hair was down past the middle of my back and almost as wide as my shoulders. I used my Harley to blow dry it. nothing like 60 or 70 mph to dry your hair. Now, it's still below my shoulders, and the Targa does the same job at times

I was making the upgrade between the classic bowl to the more progressive part down the middle Luke Skywalker look with "wings" flowing. In my hip pocket was a fine bristled no.2 comb (black of course)

I wasn't born either, but I voted for what I would have had.

You need an entry for "long pony tail" - back in the days when you could have long hair even if you weren't a construction worker.

Had one he!! of a lot more hair then than I do now...

I was 12 so I had the sweet Barry Melrose looking mullet (also similar to the Bud Light hockey guys, as a matter of fact I think I wore a Washington Capitals Jersey all the time as well..)

Then (1971) - Long, thick dark brown waves to the middle of my back - went well with the '63 Bug.

Now - Short, thin, coarse white stuff off the ears. Thank god there's no shiny spots!

Funny topic!!

I had serious 80s hair. Long brown hair with a spiral perm and high bangs with enough hair spray to stop a bullet!!

Don't ask how I stumbled across this but thought reviving it might yield some interesting results on a Friday.

What a great topic. Shows you how many Carrera owners in their 30s are here: mullet city circa 1986 or so...

You forgot the "John Travolta" from Saturday Night Fever with the part right down the middle - that feathered look. The longer the better
