I finally put a new stereo in - it only took 3 hours and some help from man's best friend -

Looks like the one they (catalogs/online) sell to replace the stock radio/tape unit.
Did all the connections just click in with no heavy rewiring? Ground and support brackets work with no jerry-rigging?

It was a very simple install - I had a previous aftermarket unit and traced the lines back from the old unit and tapped the new lines in and it worked. I purchased the stereo from Crutchfield because of the lifetime tech support in case I make a mistake and they included the wire harness for Porsches but it had one already so I didn't need to worry about it. I used the exisiting bracket - I will put a picture of what the PO had done.
