Early 'S' Values...
Here's a data point from this weekend:

Where's the hood badge? Was it a nice car Wayne?
Troy |
FWIW: I remember seeing that car over in one of the paddocks but not the particulars. I do remember a few of us saying that there were too many issues with the car to justify the price.

that's price they go for over here in Europe
the just below average, person to person buy , not from a specialist price say in 70% condition , leaking lill' bit of oil, no tensioners, not perfect paint with some rust to deal with in the future... needing moderate TLC... in Euro's not Dollars the prices with dealers/early 911 specialists are a lot higher over here : http://www.erpa.nl/db/overzichten/aanbod.php |
The way things are going, a T that nice will bring $17,000 soon, if it hasn't already.
|
a $9,000 car at Pomona, right Wayne?
|
Looks like a nice car w/ the right pieces form the photos. Something to consider is that some of the worst cars that I've ever seen for hidden rot were from Fla.
|
Theres another early S on the classifieds here for less than $15,000.
|
Possibly the funniest thing I saw at Rennsport this weekend was this sign on an early swb S .........

Good deals on S's are out there, it just takes a while and a bit of luck. My 67S was advertised in Collector Car Trader for a couple of weeks at 7K. Can't beleive nobody snagged it up before that.. I bought the first plane ticket I could and drove it half way across the country.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1083030364.jpg
