All the Perfect Bore cylinders have been recalled temporarily as JE Pistons inspects them for tighter tolerance control (at least that is what I've been told). They will be back soon...

OK Thanks Wayne...I have been ready to place an order for at least 2 months, everytime I get some time and go to press the send button something else comes up. First it was a 3.6 to replace the 3.0 then a turbo kit. Just when I had made my mind up to go back to the 3.2 short stroke idea. I will wait and see what happens next.

Cheers

I thought about putting that in the title but I did not want to upset the host.....As usual another suggested title was quite explicit! it would have grabbed attention but probably not the answer I was looking for.

It was a clearance issue with the case through bolts. There were specific years that needed to be cleared around the bolt area. Not a biggy, but the company didn't want to have people clearing the area on their own, so they pulled them back in for modifying and retooling. The structure was actually fine. It was a misc year issue.

OK......so that answers the QC issue, obviously just a design problem.

Thanks Stephen.
