Why is this Porsche grinning?

Here's one from amongst the many top Porsches running at this weekend's Spa Porsche Days. Seems like the sponsors have enough money to be happy! Can't beat Holland for finding ways to push the envelope...

Permit me one OT remark: selling coca or any other so-called "hard" drugs (including alcohol) in Holland's coffee shops is NOT PERMITTED (can't get it over my lips to say "illegal").

FYG, and this is NOT a "disclaimer": I am not a customer of coffee shops (but have been in them, quite long ago)(I don't smoke anything, I am however an amateur of fine wines -only on weekends and NEVER when driving, and have an occasional beer). So, do NOT construe this as advertising drugs, I have two sons.

Question to the board: what is that thing sticking out of the hood? The tube was connected to a gas bottle. Some one claimed it to be a pneumatic jack device, but I'm not convinced...
Any one? (funny how it looks like a water pipe mouthpiece...)

Nah, that last part was just a non-sequitur that a friend of mine has been spouting for about 20 years...

I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the hose was in fact a pressure line for the jacks... but the square hole at about the same place on the other side has me wondering ??

I'd bet it's for internal hydraulic jacks. Just MHO.

They are called airjacks, raise the car quickly (seconds) by attaching airhose coupling and lower it just as quickly by removing same coupling.
Bottle is 150 bar/2000 psi compressed air. Most race teams use it.
