Are we thinking September or October at this point? September 27th, 28th is the Nord Stern Fall Tour up north. Just about any other weekend ought to work for me.

Does anyone know when it starts?
Meet for coffee first?

Unless I'm mistaken the Afton Concours was yesterday. I didn't make it due to a number of other commitments and no car yet.

I had marked the calendar for Oct. 11-12 and put a ?? on the 18-19th.

If we can get a solid date (i.e. which date works best for Nancy & Mike) then we can start planning and hopefully more people will be able to join us.

Mike and Lori are in for Oct 11-12.
Steve red 85 Targa will probably be in also.
Now what to do?
B&B's?
Food?
Anyone south of the border want to join us?
This isn't just for Minnesotans.

I am in for the 11th-12th. And I have my car back dso I can't use that as an excuse. Are we driving down and spending the night or round tripping it in a day? Camping could be fun. Bon fire, s'mores, mmm.

Do the campsites have hot showers, soft beds and cable? No, well it looks like we'll be stayin at the "Inn". Lori hates to camp and if the temp drops below 60 F she's planning a trip to the coast.

S'mores and company sounds like fun.

B&B might be fun though.
We spent a nice weekend in Lanesboro.

scmike is there a list or website for places to stay that we can look over?

Mike

I think a B&B would be nice if we could get one with enough rooms open (depending on how many people end up coming).

This was just one site that had some options.

Mike do you know how to get a hold of that couple who stayed at your place for a while later with us? I can't remember the guys name but I think his wife was Cara?? It would be fun if they joined us too.

Nancy and I will get a list of a few B&B's in Lanesboro,Winona or anywhere else that would be of interest. We could meet at our house for lunch and then go from there.
There are a few down here that would like to meet up with us. We're open for any other suggestions.

Mike that sounds like a good plan. Who ever decides to go from here can all drive down together (you could give us the best route to your place) and then whatever you guys plan from there is fine with us.

Should we put a brief post on the 1st drive day thread so any of those people who might not have seen this could chime in if they want to join us?

Sounds good Sarah, the more cars the better. We could meet outside of town, or I could give directions later(we live out in the middle of nowhere).

Hey limble Mike - could you do one of those links on the original MN drive day post to this thread so that group of people will get an email to check this thread out if they want?? (I don't know how to make those thread links work),

Thanks
