tires on phone dials

Is anyone using 205/55 15 and 225/50 15 on 15 inch phone dial wheels? If so would you mind posting a pick? Does anyone recommend that size, or stick with the 195's and 215's? Thanks for any advise! They are going on an '86 Targa

The most common size on Carrera's are:

Front - 205 x 55 x 16

Rear - 225 x 50 x 16

KQW,
Thanks for the info, unfortunatly my wheels are the 15's and I wonder about the 205 and 225's on 15's. Soon enough I'll get a set of Fuchs but until then I need tires for the phone dials.

Give Tire Rack a call and ask for an appropriate tire for your 15"'s

Good luck

Hi There,

I doubt you will find anyone here running 15" phone dials. If you are going to be buying fuchs anyhow I would just buy the smaller tyres and put the rest toward new wheels. A size larger will give you no performance or looks benefit anyway.

But that's just my opinion.
