Cost? You should discuss with Al.
I think you will find that everyone has been super happy with Al, his staff, his quality and price.
A real straight guy.

You can ship two different ways...

1. Take the wheels and tires and cover each one, front and back, with carboard. Use liberal amounts of tape, and tape up each wheel and tire and label it. Or....

2. Have a local tire shop remove the tires and store them. Then, pack two wheels (one of each size) in one box, with cardboard between them to prevent rubbing and newspaper around them to prevent movement. When I shipped my Al Reed polished/painted 6s and 7s to Kurt V, I think I used 16x16x16 boxes.

If you're getting new tires, order them from some place like Tire Rack and drop ship them to Al. He'll mount and balance the new tires, and ship everything back to you.

When I shipped the wheels only to Kurt V in Missouri, I think the entire bill, including insurance, was about $50. Should be less within California.

I am SOOOO sold!!!! Gonna give a call on Monday. I think I might go complete polish. No black backs. Not to say that the examples do not look killer. Because they do. Anyone got some complete polish pic for me? Just want a comparison on the same page.

I just love the look of polished aluminum. So pure...polished nickel is next on my list, a bit uncommon on cars, and chrome, well, I just don't like chrome, except on large American cars!

Those are sweet wheels, Jeremy. I prefer the painted backgrounds over the whole wheel polished look. Silver paint with polish is tasty too.

Horses and courses!
