Where to get harness bar for Targa?

I have a '72 Targa and I want to add a 4 pt. harness but I can't find any manufacturers that make a nice harness bar for an older Targa. I want one that has the hoops on each side of the seat to keep the shoulder straps from sliding.

Did you try www.stableenergies.com

I wish stable energies made a harness bar for the early targas. Their guide bar is an option.

Thanks,

Jon

What is wrong with using the rear seat belt mount points for the shoulder straps? (See my reply to your other post)

Not sure I understand your question. The setup you are showing is what I am planning to do but I want a bar that has loops to hold the harness in place. Your picture shows a smooth bar.

I have been using this setup for 2 years of Autocrossing and the shoulder belts (Schroth Rallye 4) have never slipped off my shoulders. (I will add that I have never had a major crash to test this either).

As you can see from the picture, the shoulder straps form a "Y" behind the head rest. This "Y" keeps the straps on your shoulders.

If I wanted wanted some guide slots, I would contact Stable Energies and ask if they could add them to the bar.

An alternative is to put a few worm clamps on the bar with a strip of metal to act as a hold down. You can bend the metal like this to form the guide(ignore the periods):
