Oil pressure sender seal
Looks like the seal/spacer for the 1973 oil pressure sender unit is NLA.
Anybody aware of sources or a substitute? I think it is 18 mm inner diameter but not sure of the material or thickness.

Richard,
Per the diagram below ... If the engine is MFI, the oil hose to the injection pump has a steel ring approx. 18 mm ID, 25 mm OD that fits under adapter #46 ... and two A18 x 22 sealing rings -- 900.123.044.30, #44, are used above and below the pressure-tapped ring at the end of the MFI hose. Non-MFI 911T engines, and later 911SC emgines mounted an oil pressure switch #49 onto a shorter adapter, #45 -- 901.101.175.01. On 911T-K engines, the pressure sender was relocated rearward as on later engines ... and an M18 x 1.5 plug -- 900.124.006.02 capped the hole.

Warren,
I should have noted this is on the 73 with a 2.7 L (7R case). I may have confused the issue in my message because I need the specs on the seal/ring #48( I thought #47 was the oil presure sender?) I am planning on removing the whole block and removing the sender in the vise as numerous threads have mentioned, to prevent a possible terrible screwing up of the case threads. I have checked the wire and connection and feel sure it is the sender and not a bad connection/ground.

#47 is the oil pressure sender, but only on '73.5 CIS 911T-K engines ... and later 2.7 & 3.0, 3.2!!!
#48 -- 900.123.009.20 -- 18 mm x 24 mm sealing ring ...

Thanks Warren
I think I was confused, that sealing ring should fit my car as the NLA sealing ring is for a 73 (MFI) engine)
