After three and a half months, my 911 is back in action!!! Got the engine back in on Saturday, and finally got the last few details done - clutch adjustment, set timing, idle, etc. and took it out for a spin tonight. Man, it is running tight! New Sachs Sport clutch kit (love it), tensioner upgrade (+15hp), valve adjustment (sounds purrrrrfect - no ticking), full tune-up, and ALL NEW OIL SEALS. No leaky.
I'm quite thrilled. ![]()

Good for you, Mike! Remember how bummed you were a few months ago?
New seals = good time to switch to synthetic if you haven't already.

Yea, Wavey, I sure do. I posted that it was 3 1/2 months above, but it was over two months until I even got the engine out, so total down time was close to SIX MONTHS!
Thanks for the reminder on the sythetic oil. I didn't use it, but I guess if I am considering it, now's the time.
