Joel--
Real fuchs will have the parts number and a fox emblem embossed into the rear of the wheel. See the thread below.

Joel-
very possible that the accumulation of dirt on the back of the wheels has obscured the numbers. Just tell the seller you want to confirm the part #'s. Don't jump to the conclusion that they're trying to pull something on you until you've had a chance to assess the facts. Where in Westchester are you? I grew up in Elmsford (many, many years ago).

Watch out if it's fake, they are known to break.

This is what happens to a replica wheel.
I don't have digital pics of car after it broke, but it sure wasn't pretty. I did 4 or 5 360 spins and hit the armco with both rear and front end. Car was almost totalled.
Bruce Anderson also have one in his performance handbook.
The replica wheel is cast and has same dimensions as the forged and is therefore much weaker.
OE fuchs has: part no., offset (ET), fuchshead, and size (6J-15)
Replica wheels has only size (6-15)
Like I said before: Replica Fuchs are for your garden hose only!
