Cold weather startups will produce a little vapor from the condensation in your system. White smoke. Normal.
Warm weather you will see a small puff of smoke upon startup-a sure sign that you are running a flat 6 motor. Normal.
Bad things: smoke when you let off the go pedal, blue smoke for any period of time at startup, smoke coming from the dashboard (get a fire extinguisher fast).
p.s. there are many threads on this (the Search button is your friend)
