930 Clutch Question

Hey guys. I'm not sure if it's just a clutch cable issue, but my clutch is acting strange. When the car is off and when driven cold, the clutch feels great; very smooth. When the car warms up, engaging the clutch is much more difficult. It feels as though the cable is rubbing against something rough. In my passion for driving this car, I never noticed it, but my girlfriend actually noticed it the other night (second time she's driven it). She claims she won't drive it again until I fix it. I'm thinking maybe I should fix it and fail to mention it to her. Any idea what's causing the change in feel?

Could it be your throw out bearing is seizing?

Patrick, would I be able to engage the clutch if the throw out bearing was seized? I can live with it the way it is, but I know it should be easier to engage. Possibly weak clutch pressure plate springs?

When these clutches start acting up it's more than likley
wear. Sometimes you can adj. out the hard peddle and
sticky feel, but with no lasting effect. I think you'll find you
need a fresh clutch.
I've had good luck with "centerforce clutches" they seem
to last longer in 930's.

I drove the car again tonight and the clutch definitely gets worse as it warms up. Could it be that when the helper spring warms up with the increased heat of the motor it expands and slightly fails? I guess I'm just hoping that the solution will not be to replace the clutch. Any other input would be much appreciated.
