Are Hazet like tools something we can get at a Pelican or local auto parts?
I saw a tool for a CV joint, a CV joint socket, by Hazel. It has a longer extension than what I've seen before. It appears that it offers an extended clearance past the CV boot itself, so working the tool will not rub the boot. Is something similar to this available at Pelican or other?
Also, is there such thing as a long (very long) extension that can reach through the exchangers to to the nuts on the Porsche oil cooler. The tools I have will never reach this far, without what appears to be removing the exchanger (maybe). Thanks

This company is a machine shop supply store and the brand of hand tools they sell is Hazet, although they have no evidence of that on their web site. I've been going in there for years and they always have Hazet tools in the show room. They are not an auto parts store so they don't carry the Porsche specific Hazet tools. They can order them in for you. I've heard of people going in there to order tools to fill their spare tire tool kits for their 356s and VWs, so I asked the counter guy. He confirmed they get a lot of weird requests from the car guys. Give them a call. |
