ignition woes

1970 911T

There is no spark going to the motor - the starter works and it turns over, but when I cheacked the spark connectors, there was no power. So while going over the electrical, I tested the voltages and saw that there's no power going to the coil. Could it be the CD box? Is there a way to test the cd box to make sure it works?

Thanks
