Allignment Question

Sorry if this has been asked a million times. I did turbo tie rods, bump steer kit, bilstein sports and Toyo RAIs, and i will be getting the car alligned on Friday. I will be using the car for street and track (RAIs only for track). What would be a good alignment comprimise?

Thanks,

Alan

Alen,

What year and model car? I Have an 87 911 and here are my alignment specs.

Front Camber 1.5 deg
Back Camber 2.5 deg

Front Caster 6.5
Rear Caster 6.5

I would also recommend a corner balance as well. See you at the Glen next week.

On my '86 I ran 0.9f/1.5r negative camber. .9 degrees was the most I could get in the front. I didn't notice any tire wear issues and it was mostly a street car.

You are correct sir.

FWIW, there is no "rear caster". Anyway, I run about 1.5 degrees negative camber front and about 1.3 degrees rear and zero toe front and rear. Caster is whatever it is - as long as both sides are the same, it doesn't matter tremendously.

I haven't been on the track in awhile (and it's killing me) and my front A032s have suffered from the camber.

Mike
