Nice seats I've seen them around, have you got a chance to sit in one yet? Any big guys have these seats can you get in and can you get out? I am not fat but I am 6' 2" and 225.

reg sport seats are 1900 these are lighter and in new condition
if you want the right look...you gotta pay. I'd think around 2K would be more reasonable since they are not originals....but if I had the dough I'd get them for my car. MJ |

for starters they are brand new......
A pair of good condition recaro Sport Seats go for 2500-3500 used!!!!!! Finding them is nearly impossible and then getting them redone perfect is another 1500.00!! So these seem like a great option to me..... Plus period incorrect sport seats in a pre-'73 look real cheesy to me.... thoughts? SvK |

Apparently the only difference is that he did make them just a bit wider than the originals.....to fit a larger person........also since therse are made to order it wouldn't surprise me if you can request building options SvK

I debate getting these seats all the time. For that kind of money I could almost buy my 911R project car or a hot tub for the house. The corbeau vintage seats seem like a very good deal to me.

I could get these upholstered with any fabric at Autos International and it still would be cheaper.

no offence meant........
but those are not lookers....to boxy looking......the curves on the recaros compliment the curves of a 911........but they are inexpensive SvK

Those are beuatiful seats
Heres what Im going with for about 1/2 the price in black. These have a substrap hole for a 5 point harness as well. I just got off the phone with the guy and he says he can do them in custom colors as well, but they will be more expensive than the black ones (which are already in stock) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Shuie; 05-12-2004 at 04:05 PM.. |

I'd love to get a set of those Vintage Seats, but they don't come with a tilt mechanism. For that price...

Those are the seats Bob Tilton mentioned, the Beilsteins. They are actually made by someone else, but these are the ones. They do have a tilt mechanism available as well.
