CIS Fuel Pump ???
Alright i have a new fuel pump for m new CIS engine. THere are 2 spots to attach the metal fuel lines.
Theres a spot on the top of the pump and a spot on the bottom side? AAnyone know which port goes to what? If the bottom side is the suction or the pressure. Since this wasnt a CIS car i have no idea how to setup the pump the Carb fuel pump was much differrent? ANy tips? Thanks Jon |

The CIS pump on my SC has a port on each end, not top and bottom. The inlet from the fuel tank uses a hose that simply slips over the tube and is clamped. the outlet (high pressure side) uses a hollow bolt with aluminum sealing washers. The bolt fits thru a "banjo" style fitting and is tightened with a 17mm wrench.
Some of the SC fuel pumps use a separate fuel pressure valve that holds pressure in the line after the pump is turned off. The other style pump has the pressure valve built into the neck of the pump. Hope this helps! Fred Cook '80 911SC coupe |

Intake or suction is on end; output or pressure is on side.
