Lot's o Squeakin' down there
 

I jacked up the front of my SC, checked the bearings and brake pads, polished the rims, then put it back together. OK, simple enough,,,except now the front end squeaks. It's like a Chevy ball joint sound, and happens when you bounce the car on it's suspension. I couldn't have hurt anything, and I know I have poly bushings on the sway bar. Is there a lube for this problem? Is there something I'm not aware of down there that needs attention.

I'm gonna try this again. That sqeak is really annoying.

My car recently did the same thing following alignment and corner balance after a complete (shocks, T-bars, bushings, tie rods, bump steer) install. I isolated to the right side of the car, moved the A-arm up and down and the sound went away.

I recently replaced my suspension, & after I had a horrible squeek. :mad: Turns out it was my front hood latch.:D

I had a similar occurrence last year. I have polyurethane bushings and had no squeaks. I put my car on a lift on a very hot day (~95F), and when it came off, the rear began squeaking. It's gotten worse over time, and I'm guessing that when the suspension went to full droop, it moved enough that it was no longer well-lubricated when moving back to its loaded position. I believe it can be fixed by disassembling the suspension, re-lubricating the bushings, and putting everything back together again. I plan to install the Elephant polybronze bushings so I don't have this problem again in the future. I'm guessing your squeak comes from a similar issue. Do you know what kind of bushings you have up front, aside from the sway bar bushings?

its probably your sway bar bushings. not sure what kind of grease i used but i had the same thing, greased it up and it stopped.

The problem with the poly bushings is that they are too hard too twist, so they slide and will need grease. Whereas the stock rubber ones were designed to not move but twist, and cause no squeak, but they aren't as accurate for alignments, and need to be replaced. Get the best of both worlds, and get some bushings from Chuck at Elephant racing - they work great, and are a once in a lifetime replacement.
