body parts shipping advice needed
Hey guys I'm buying some body panels for my 951 from a very helpful guy (Bill Higgins) in Oceanside, CA. He is kind enough to box everything up real well but leaves the choice of shipping courier up to the buyer. What would you suggest for economy and peace of mind to get a hood, fender and front valence up to Seattle?
thanks much, kie

Forward Air if you both are willing. He would have to find a terminal, and you would have to pick up at one (nearest one to you is in Auburn I beleive). Cheap though.

FedEx has some rather large limits to what they ship. Check them too.

For the large stuff that UPS, USPS or FedEX wont carry you have few realisticly priced options.
IMO, the cheapest and quickest is Greyhound. I shipped rockers and an air dam that were too large for the mentioned carriers and it was around $35 (If I remember correctly) and went from NJ to MD in a few hours.
