With fuel inside the carb, you should be able to see fuel squirt from the accelerator pump jet in the throttle bore. If not, that means no fuel inside or the accel. pump circuit or linkage is not connected/working. You can also remove/loosen one of the plugs on the side of the float bowl and see if there's fuel inside.
Verify you have fuel pressure to the carbs. Remove one of the fuel inlet hoses at the carb and see if you're getting fuel pressure after the filter (you have one yes?). Ignition ON, you should have 3.5 psi. pressure. Hope this helps. Sherwood |
