I have a stock 1971 911 and am about to refill the transmission with oil. I went to my local parts store and could not find what the owners guide asks for - which is "2.6 Quarts of BP EP 90 Hypoid oil, Shell SAE90 gearbox oil or Veedlo Muligear SAE 90". I'm sure I'm not the 1st person to ask - what should I use ?? Thanks very much

i can tell you what i just put in. SWEPCO 212. the last fluid in there was SWEPCO 201. the 212 actually quieted the thing down some.
i would try that

I put the SWEPCO 201 in mine.
It didn't improve anything, but then again things didn't get any worse.

I'd say SWEPCO 201.... I tried the 212 and in my 83SC with very high miles, the 201 worked the best.
