Nice car (similar to mine!) except your steering wheel is on the wrong side and someones nicked your whaletail :)
How do you get your rims soo shiny?

Bigtoe 05-24-2004 12:23 PM

Oh it worked!

And, it looks great!

jtratza 05-24-2004 01:03 PM

Soup, The wheels were painted and polished here in Houston several years ago. I wax them about twice a year which is not enough. Two of them have small traces of a stain probably from some dog or irate neighbor.

Sweeeet! There's nothing quite like a red Targa!

I would say that the fountains...

in that picture, closely resemble my reaction to very sweet p cars.

Even targas. :p

Nice car, did you do the brick work?

jtratza 05-25-2004 05:06 AM

Brick work and fountains by Mattress Mac owner of the location. Houston residents know him from Gallery Furniture. Location is the Westside Tennis Club where my wife spends half her time which works for me cause that way she doesn't see me spending my time and money on the car.

Can anyone tell me why digital cameras don't seem to capture guards red as great as it looks? Or is it my camera?

Joe Bob 05-25-2004 06:46 AM

Camera settings....I find that in full sun you need a filter on the lens to get the best colors or adjust the colors on your computer afterwards.

MY best shots come in overcast foggy days or early/late in the day.

soup dragon 05-25-2004 08:08 AM

Took a photo of my guards red car and it came out pinkish/purple had to adjust it to get it looking more normal, still looks different shade to everyone elses :)

jtratza 05-25-2004 08:38 AM

Zerort seems to have the best color match. Or is the car orange and the camera makes it look like guards red? I like the rear wiper.

zerort 05-25-2004 08:54 AM

Its guards red. Must be the camera.
