CIS intake manifold clamps

I'm swapping the CIS from a non-working engine to a working engine. It looks to me like I should change the 6 intake manifold sleeves and gaskets. Is there any reason why I can't reuse the clamps? Are they prone to breaking? I'm ordering some parts tomorrow and I'd like to get it all in one package.

Is there anything else I should replace on the CIS?

Never seen a broken CIS clamp before .. and I have done my share of messing with the CIS ... 'while you are in there' you should take a look/replace the rubber boots (the black things in your picture) they usualy crack with age.

Good luck .. and watch for air leaks when you are done .. very easy to get one (or more) boots nor properly set..

The picture doesn't show it, but there is cracking on the sleeves/boots.

The CIS has been sitting for a few months. I'm not sure exactly how many (I think under 6). Is there a good way to check and see if it's still going to function properly? I've been avoiding purchasing any of the CIS books...but I suppose I might have to.

Any tips on geting the boots to seat properly?
