OG Racing air deflection plates

I bought the OG front cool brake kit several months ago and just now getting them installed. Since changing my clutch I'm burned out and having my mechanic do it. BUT, the air deflection plates are a joke and just ordered the Smart Racing ones. The OG ones don't even fit and they want you to drill and tap the rotor, screw that ****. So heads up to anyone who orders there kit which seems pretty good since there 3" and cheaper.

their kit does include instructions that say to drill and tap the hub inside the rotor for the air block off plate. Why not just drill 5 holes and mount behind the rotor like every other kit. Its 2 min extra work. I could not see the point of spending $100 more for the same thing.

They still won't clear the hub and if they did they don't block the air very well like the SR ones. You will have to drill every rotor you change out in the future. The blocking plates from SR are $35. Assuming they sent me the right ones they are a horrible design and they will hear it from me. You can't sell something that won't fit at all.

Just installed the OG racing kit the weekend before last. Everything fit well and no complaints about the install. The brakes held up well all weekend at the track.

Will see once I get them but they should be ALOT better. The ones from OG must have been the wrong ones but what a design screw up to drill and tap your rotors when you can just use the bolts to hold the hub and rotor together instead.
