CIS Probs

Just finished my rebuild and I need to get it to the shop, but its running way too rich. I tried dialing it down with the idle mixture screw w/o any success. I cant even get it running good enough to time it properly. I dont have a CIS Pressure Tester. Any Ideas on getting this to the shop w/o a tow?

Push it...

But seriously, how do you know it's running too rich? Counterclockwise on adjustment screw = lean. Also, try testing your WUR for resistance, and possibly flip the diaphram [or just replace the WUR]. Try a search on WUR if you think you may want to tweak it.

Buy gauges, they're relatively cheap and its the only way to really adjust your pressure correctly.
