Wink Brumos Porsche wants to make your 911 ugly!

Check out this scan from the November 1966 issue of Road & Track:

Did they ever make these fenders? I know I've never seen a car wearing these nasty things!

I would love to see one of those today. Is it really valuable?

Looks like Brumos wanted to emulate the then current "modern" look, which was found on so many other sports cars, Ferrari, Jaguar E-type (XK-E in the US). Nothing wrong with that, except that it ...smoothened into oblivion... the distinctive Porsche 911 look. An unnecessary change!

They must've been ahead of time. It looks like a Carrera GT - 997 mixture

That is one ugly front end! It reminds me of the old Citreons. (sp?)

Reminds me of the one-off "Puma" front end.
