Very First Drive
Well, it is almost time!!! My SC is finally approaching the pavement for the first time. First of, many thanks to all Pelicanites who have helped me thus far. I refrain from names because I woudl be afraid to unintentionaly leave someone out. The entire forum has certainly been a godsend for me this far in my project.
I am in hopes to take my car for its maiden voyage this weekend. The new/used engine so far has proven to be better than I expected. Still have some issues, but small enough so I may get to them as I hopefully enjoy it a little. Having never driven a 911, I look forward to the experience. I can only hope to catch the "fever" even more after this weekend. Thanks again to all.

Never driven a 911? You're in for quite an experience. Hint: You steer with the gas pedal.

Get used to that 915 tranny before you really start flogging on it. You'll love it from the first second though.

One Word....... UNBELIEVABLE!
Now I know what you all meant about the experience of driving my 911. I have driven alot of cars, but nothing like this one. Wow... The tranny does take some getting used to, Looooong way between gears, but a new short shift kit is definitely on the horizon. Again, thanks to Pelicanites who helped me out along the way. Sun is coming up, and time to get another fix!!!!!
